Lana Jackson moves between disciplines that rarely share a room: fourteen years managing multimillion-dollar portfolios at the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of Defense, and a parallel life inside cultural institutions, including curatorial work at the Smithsonian and development work at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. That combination, financial precision and artistic fluency, shapes everything she builds now.

She is the creator and executive producer of Fashion Files, a cinematic documentary series exploring fashion as culture, identity, and power through the stories of visionary designers. The series was developed through a Soho House Creative Fellowship and presented at the Marché du Film, Cannes Film Festival, through the Largo.ai 100 Producers Program.

Jackson studied art history and design, and her writing moves between cultural criticism and personal essay, often reading current events through an astrological and esoteric lens. She believes storytelling, at its best, does more than entertain; it restores oxygen to what has been overlooked, reveals the patterns beneath culture, and helps people recognize the meaning, memory, and humanity inside what they thought they already understood.

She is currently based in California, developing the next chapter of Fashion Files.
