Nobody's Talking About These Healing Tools, and They Should Be

Inner and outer technologies for trying times (the shit you probably never heard of)

I have a 12th house Virgo Sun. So I've spent most of my life quietly working through things before I ever say them out loud. So when I tell you this next part, know that I've sat with it for a while before writing it down:

Friend. Your state of being is not a nice to have right now. It's not self-care. It's not something you get to when the to-do list is finished.

It's your top priority. Full stop.

Here's why.

We are living through a lot of change ... and a lot of light (see also: global heatwaves and every last epic solar flare, solar storm, and mass coronal ejection since 2024).

There's a lot happening right now, in the outer world and in our inner worlds too. Structures are shifting. Old systems are loosening their grip. And at the same time, there's an enormous amount of beautiful energy moving in to support us through it.

You can feel it in the astrology right now. You can feel it in how many like-minded communities are forming, online and in real life, around regenerative agriculture, around healing, around new ways of living and connecting. New technologies are emerging. People are waking up and finding each other. There's a lot of light here, even the kind we can't always see yet.

So this isn't a piece about what's falling apart. It's about how we adapt, heal, and hold ourselves steady while so much is in motion. Because even with all this beautiful energy coming in, sometimes a crash out still happens. The change is real, and so is the support that's here for us inside of it.

And still, you can't control the weather.

But (and it’s a big but lol) you can command your state.

Here's the truth. We can't control everything. But we can control enough. Where we put our focus. How we support ourselves. How quickly we come back to center when something knocks us off it. That's not the same as saying you can just think your way into any reality you want. It's not that simple, and it never was. But the parts we can direct are real, and they ripple outward. Your state shapes your choices. Your choices shape your days. Your days shape the reality you're actually living in, and eventually, the one you're contributing to around you.

These tools help you work with the parts that are actually yours to work with.

When you get your state of being right, everything cascades from that. You create your own bubble of energy, and it can be extremely loving, extremely compassionate. Your vision, your imagination, everything you're broadcasting out into the world comes from that place of energetic stability. You work so much better from there.

Compare that to being scattered, bouncing from one headline to the next: the war, the economy, who's getting canceled this week. Reacting to everything and grounding in nothing. That's unsustainable, and it's actually not helping anyone, including you.

Mastery of your state of being starts with self-care, and I mean that practically. Put your own oxygen mask on first. We know this. You can't pour into anyone or anything from empty. You help more people, more effectively, from a full and stable place than you ever will scattered.

More light is hitting the planet than most of us realize. If you're sensitive, you feel it. Even without a single hard day, your nervous system is already working overtime just to process it. But that's intentional. All this incoming light is actually helping upgrade us, moving us from dense, carbon-based bodies toward something lighter. From Homo Sapiens, to becoming Homo Luminous right? More light literally means more illumination, and that's part of why we're moving through such a collective awakening right now.

Add the personal stuff on top like the relationship that's shifting, the job that's unstable, the body that's detoxing something old ... and you start to understand why so many people feel like they're unraveling.

We used to call this depression, excessive crying, insomnia or being stuck, or a bad year. Now some people call it ascension symptoms. I just call it being human on Earth. Your body and your field are adjusting to a planet that's moving faster than it used to.

Which brings me to the whole game right now. Not avoiding the breakdowns. Learning how to move through them so quickly that what used to take months or years takes days. Sometimes hours.

I don't call them breakdowns anymore either. I call them crash outs. Because that's honestly what they feel like in the moment ... a crash. But a crash out doesn't have to become a crater you live in. It can become the exact thing that cracks you open into a breakthrough.

Breakdown to breakthrough. That's the technology we need to be building inside ourselves right now.

We already know some of this

Breath work. Movement. Yoga. Meditation. Sound bathing. These aren't new to you. You've heard of them, maybe you practice them, maybe you've moved past them into something else.

I want to talk about some other healing resources that don't get a lot of airtime.

The spiritual technologies we aren’t talking enough about:

Subliminal work. Maybe you've meditated a thousand times but never tried working with your subconscious directly through subliminal programming. This is something I do a lot of, and I create custom subliminals for exactly this reason. It's a different doorway into the same room meditation creates—inner resolve and peace. The only difference is subliminals don’t just calm you down, they have the capacity to change your brain, your actions, and your life when used (and tailored) appropriately.

Flower remedies. Everyone's doing plant medicine ceremonies—as they should. Journeys, ceremonies, the whole thing. And that's real and valid and should be entered into with reverence and with the support of trusted indigenous allies and therapists. But we don't talk enough about flower remedies, the quieter, day-to-day plant (sometimes moment-to-moment) allies that can shift your internal state without a ceremony or a facilitator. You don't need a journey to access a shift. Sometimes it's a few drops under your tongue and 5 minutes to a whole new state of being—not kidding. Flowers make great remedies, they are soft, but powerful … kind of like women. Safe and gentle for children and pets too!

Grounding, upgraded. We know about grounding, bare feet on the earth, and that's still the foundation. If you want to go deeper, there's more available. Grounding sheets you put right on your mattress. German-engineered frequency devices like Healy that work with your body's own bioelectric field. These aren't gimmicks. They're tools, and a lot of people use them. I do too.

Anthroposophic medicine. We talk about functional medicine and integrative medicine constantly now. What we don't talk about is anthroposophic medicine, a holistic system built out of the work of Rudolf Staeiner that treats the body, mind, and spirit as one continuous field. It's been quietly around for a century. Most people have never heard the word. And a lot of these naturopathic remedies cost a fraction of what a prescription runs, so this isn't some inaccessible, expensive world. It's often the cheaper option no one is telling you about.

Rolfing. If you've tried bodywork and massage, but the relief doesn't last, maybe consider rolfing. Rolfing goes further. It's structural integration, deep, deliberate work with the fascia to realign the whole body, not just relax the muscles for an hour or a few days after. Past trauma and stuck emotions live in your fascia. Rolfing can be intense because it can bring up a lot of emotions, but it also tends to create lifelong relief that actually lasts.

Craniosacral work. Acupuncture is pretty mainstream by now. Craniosacral therapy not so much, and it's one of the gentlest, most direct ways to release trauma that's been sitting in the nervous systemm, the skull and spine. I have found craniosacral is often a better replacement for talk therapy (if your fed up with talking), just a different healing for a deeper kind of repair. I often treat my craniosacral therapist like a therapist, we talk before about what’s going on, but then instead of more chit chat, I get on table and we get to work—moving the energy out of my body. Talking is great but if you want lasting shifts you have address where the issue is living in the body, this is the way to go.

Shamanic energy healing. You've been to therapy. Maybe you're still going, and if that's what you have access to, that's genuinely fine. Do what you can do. But if you’ve done the kitchen sink of healing, try shamanic energy healing it works on a completely different layer entirely. It is incredibly good at unearthing and releasing the kinds of deep, tragic, traumatic stuff that lives in our epigenetics, the stuff that keeps us in recurring patterns and states of stuckness we can't talk or work our way out of. You don't have to stay there. The beautiful thing about shamanic healing is that it is meant to empower you, like plant medicine, it is for those who know they are ready to end the cycle.

People to follow on IG when you need a mirror, not just a method. Sometimes it's not a modality you need. It's a person, living proof that a different way of being is actually possible. Not a life coach, or a content creator per se (maybe it’s that) ... just someone a few steps ahead on the path. I think men especially need this modeled for them right now. I haven't worked with these people individually, but I follow their work closely, and it's been genuinely impactful to witness their life and work intersecting. Of course social media is a highlight reel and no one is perfect or has it all figured out, but there is a lot to be encouraged by. Now, I’m not on the gram much these days but when I need a inspirational vitamin, or no nonsense wisdom, these are a few people I check on:

Thosh Collins and his partner Chelsea Luger, powerful indigenous voices in wellness and personal development, especially around masculinity, marriage, and family.

Philip Attar, doing deep one-on-one and marital coaching rooted in masculine development.

Kiana Reeves and her husband Chris Keener, working in sexual wellness, breathwork, and embodiment.

John Wineland, who runs some of the best container work I've seen for men building better businesses, bodies, and relationships, especially men who need other men.

Manoj Dias, whose meditations on culture and consciousness bring a more thoughtful lens to how we see the world.

Alberto Villoldo, a medical anthropologist and shaman with some of the most grounded insights on modern shamanism you'll find anywhere.

Gary Zukav, whose words and work on marriage and conscious partnership still holds up.

Taylor Perkins and BC Serna, both brilliant at expanding people's minds around waking up from the matrix, especially for people coming from religious backgrounds or anyone who's learned to demonize the feminine instead of understanding it.

Dr. Rand Wilson, a clinical psychologist working in trauma and relationship repair, helping men rebuild a healthier relationship to masculinity itself.

I could keep going. These are just a few of the people I trust to lead someone toward their highest possibility.

I'm not sharing any of this to prove anything. I don't often talk about these things publicly, because not everyone knows how to receive the information with maturity. But I've moved through a lot of these modalities myself, from the simpler ones to the deeper ones, and the point was never to arrive somewhere impressive. The point is that there's so much more available to us than we've been told.

Maybe you meditate every day but have never tried a subliminal. Maybe you've done plant medicine but never a flower remedy. Maybe you know acupuncture but not craniosacral. Maybe you've sat with a therapist but never a shamanic healer.

That's not a failure. That's an invitation.

Different times call for different tools friends.

I want to be really clear about something. If talk therapy and yoga are your regular routine and what you have access to, and they're working for you, keep doing them. There's nothing wrong with that. You do what you can do with what you have.

But I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't tell you there's more out there. In fact, all of the modalities I'm sharing here are things I've used on my own healing journey, because I'm always building my toolkit as things come up in my life. You should be building yours too. We can't keep reaching for the same tools we've always reached for and expect our lives to change. The world isn't moving at the old pace anymore, so why would we heal at the old pace?

This is one of the largest spiritual awakenings we've ever lived through. People are waking up from the matrix, from the old three-dimensional "this is just how it is" reality, and they're rethinking their lives, their relationships, their health, their work, all of it. That's NOT a small thing. That's a complete re-ordering of how we live.

So here's what I want you to walk away with.

You don’t have to suffer, societal programming makes you feel like certain life circumstances or situations are just something to live with, or white knuckle. But you don’t have to power through, there are a rainbow of other options to explore.

And while you cannot control everything that's shifting outside of you. You never could, and you're not meant to. What you can control is your inner state. Your peace. Your ability to come back to center and stay there a little longer each time (success is about duration).

That is your priority right now. And it is achievable.

If you are reading this, you have a choice, you can come out of agreement with suffering.

We need a generation of humans with healed and open hearts, who can be the monk in the storm and the adult in the room.

Command your inner authority. Self-source as much as you can. And when the crash out comes, and it will, let it be the doorway instead of the destination.

Like I said earlier—breakdown to breakthrough. That's the strategy, and these are just some of the tools.

A note before you go: with everything I mentioned here, please know that not everything here works the same way for everyone, and not everything works instantly. Everybody’s body is different. Some of these are immediate. Some are a process. Some of these work better in combination with other modalities, rather than alone. Give things time before you decide they're not for you.

There's a lot of noise in the spiritual/wellness space. Some of it is nonsense, some of the people in it aren't honest or reliable. And also, a lot of it is real, and a lot of the people doing this work genuinely care about your wellbeing. There are so many people who want you to be well, I know because I am one of them. Still … use your discernment. Do your research. Trust yourself to tell the difference.

If you're new to this world and don't know where to start or who to trust, I know that can feel disorienting from the outside. I'm happy to be a resource or offer referrals of people I’ve worked with and products I regularly use. Reach out anytime at: lana@neueearth.com.

Take care. And as my favorite poet Cleo Wade says: “ Baby, you are the strongest flower that ever grew—remember that when the weather changes.”
